On Friday, October 28 about half the class attended the Junior Achievement More Than Money conference at the Aetna campus in Hartford. The keynote speaker taught students about manufacturing and its impact on the Connecticut economy. Students then broke up into smaller groups and played some games involving debits/credits. They learned about small businesses, saving, and what it takes to be an entrepreneur in today’s economy.
