On Monday, we will have a special visitor come spend most of the day with our class – State Representative Tim LeGeyt. One teacher in Avon was selected to be “shadowed” by a politician, I was picked, and Monday is the day!
Junior Achievement will be starting this Wednesday. The program for fifth grade is called Our Nation and includes 5-6 lesson days. Our Nation focuses on businesses that utilize science, technology, engineering, and math. It’s a great tie-in to our own class business, Bungles, and other entrepreneurial discussions we’ve had as a class. Click here for more detailed information on the sessions.
