Ahh, the last day and a half of fifth grade. Hopefully I’ll see many parents at our BBQ on Monday, but for those I don’t see – have a wonderful summer. Students who ordered yearbooks will most likely get them on Tuesday. They’ll have a chance to go outside with the rest of the school to get them signed. For those who didn’t order a yearbook, I’ll make sure they have a little packet put together that they could also get signed. The other thing they could do is wear their team t-shirt (or any t-shirt) to have people sign.

Friday was Step-Up Day. Students received their team assignments and then went upstairs to visit their future sixth grade classrooms. In sixth grade students will be on one of three teams (like this year), but on the team they will have a homeroom teacher, a math teacher, a science teacher, and a language arts teacher. They will see the language arts teacher the most as that class is a double block of time.

On Monday, June 15 we’ll have our End-of-the-Year BBQ. Please refer to the e-mails from the room parents for more info on that.
