Happy New Year! We come back for a short week to kick off 2013, but we’ll get the year off with a bang. As we move into the last six months of the school year our writing will kick up a notch, we’ll begin the American Revolution in Social Studies, and phase two of Bungles (after a great Grand Opening) gets going.

Holiday Luncheon – Friday, December 21
Parent/Teacher Conferences are Monday and Tuesday of this week with a few scattered in the mornings the rest of the week. Both days are half days. Friday is a half day as well for Teacher Professional Development.
Thank you to everyone who helped contribute in some way to the Holiday Bear Project. Our shoppers purchased a lot of great presents for the two kids we sponsored and everyone helped wrap all of the gifts after a quick lesson on proper wrapping techniques.
Our Holiday Luncheon will be on Friday, December 21. The room parents have sent out information about this via e-mail.
