This is the final full week of fifth grade. We finish off the school year with 3 1/2 hours of school on Monday, June 23. This is an action packed week. Tuesday is a Beach Read-In for part of the day, Wednesday we have a class Talent Show (put on by the students), Thursday is both the class BBQ and Step-Up Day, and Friday is the 5th Grade Olympics. It’s going to be a busy week!
On Step-Up Day students will find out which team they will be on next year and meet some of the teachers. In sixth grade, students will have three different teachers – math, science, and Language Arts. The Language Arts teacher will actually have a double block of time with the students. Students will also have a homeroom teacher and this may or may not be one of the other three teachers they have for academics.
