Last week students started the Smarter Balanced (SBAC) assessments, taking ELA and the Science field test (which means they were testing the test for science). Our days for this week are Monday and Tuesday for math, and then students are done unless they need to take a make-up test.
Monday, May 7 and Tuesday, May 8 (Math)
On Friday I am taking a group of students from this class to the Junior Achievement Partners In Achievement Breakfast at the Hartford Marriott. These students will be serving as ambassadors for the event. In addition, since Junior Achievement is celebrating their 100th anniversary next year, CPTV will be there filming the event for a future documentary so students may get a little screen time in the future.
